
Sarah Burton is a 2006 graduate of Eastern Kentucky
University with an emphasis in Business Management, with plans
of continuing her education in the near future. Sarah's passion
for event planning began during her employment at CMI Consulting
following her graduation. During her employment at CMI
Consulting, she was involved in numerous golf scrambles and
corporate events, including the annual NAWBO Winners' Circle
awards luncheon and Chocolate Affaire.
Since returning to the Lake Cumberland area she has become
the premiere wedding and social event coordinator, as well as
the Director of Marketing & Sales for
Cumberland Weddings Unveiled. Sarah has also received
instruction in business & dining etiquette from the Etiquette &
Protocol School of Lexington.
Sarah currently serves as the Vice President for the Young
Chamber Professionals of Lake Cumberland, a Board member of the
Monticello/Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, as well as an
active member of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce, Lake
Cumberland Woman's Club, and Wayne Republican Women.

Georgia Burton recently retired after 36 years as
Wayne County Extension Agent for Family Consumer Sciences.
Through the years Georgia has planned successful conferences,
workshops, events and other educational programs for adults,
youth and children. Topics and subject matter taught varied from
foods, nutrition, community development, health and safety, with
expertise in personal development, etiquette, textile
preservation, time-management and knowing community resources.
Georgia holds degrees in vocational Home Economics/Family &
Consumer Sciences from the University of Kentucky and University
of Tennessee. She is a member of the American and Kentucky
Association of Family & Consumer Sciences and the Kentucky
Epsilon Sigma Phi Extension Fraternity.
